Are You Serving Customers or Consumers In Your Home Business?

by Mary Emma Allen on March 21st, 2007

Ron Elizondo, blogger at Brand Curve, brings up a good point in his post about Customers/Clients vs. Consumers and asks whether the business owner knows which one he’s marketing to, and thus developing advertising for.

His distinction between the two is to be considered when you’re deciding whom you’re serving.  Ron defines a Client/Customer as “someone who pays for goods or services” and the Consumer as “a person who uses goods or services.”

You may want to learn more from Ron about whom you’re sending your message to and whether your advertising will be effective.
